Lifestyle Portraits

Blue Sawtooth's lifestyle portraits use the same media as it's art -- original oils-on-silverprint.  Their appearance is that of a photo-realistic oil painting, and they match the archival (permanent nature) of conventional oil paintings. 

Lloyd Behrendt's early photographic experience was as a black and white photojournalist (no newspapers anywhere ran color photos then) at the Melbourne (Florida) Times.   The several years spent capturing life on the Space Coast during the Apollo moon program steeped him in the 'slice of life' technique that is today reflected in these lifestyle portraits.  The purpose is to freeze an 'everyday moment' in time -- one that illustrates and memorializes your memories for viewing enjoyment long into the future.

Pricing

In Brevard County, portrait prices are:

            8 x10         $ 350.

            11 x 14        700.

            16 x 20        980.

Shooting fees are included in the portrait price. 

Outside of Brevard County, expenses will be commensurate with the distance from Blue Sawtooth Studio.

The artist can work from personal color or black and white negatives.
